Tasmanian theatre director, writer, and founder of Big hART, Scott Rankin is also the 2018 Tasmanian Australian of the Year.

Big hART is a charity which uses the arts to bring about social justice, and while his commitments with some of WA's Aboriginal communities have unfortunately prevented Scott being at the Festival in person, we are thrilled be able to include instead some of the young women and producers from BigART's Project O Tasmanian program.  These Aboriginal women from the North-West will share their powerful stories of change and leadership skills in a series of short films, as we follow their journey to becoming change-makers in their community.

This session is at Star Theatre, Invermay Road, Invermay on Friday 14 September, from 11am - 12 noon. $25 adults ; $17 for students.
